we have a book. but they were not in it.

these are some of the mystery birds.
this bird is a "black-headed Grosbeak" incase you where wondering.
we have been seeing a pair of "Brown-headed cowbirds" as well.
time to buy more bird feed.

Going by my book I think your first bird is an immature grosbeak of the same variety as the others.
