fight the spammers

as you may have seen people have been spamming the comments on blogger.

greedy anoying people.

well I have turned on my "word verification" on.
it will look something like this. random words/letter will be required to post a comment.
so if some spammers are using a program to submit spam, they will be required to type word manualy. thus being very time comsuming. and they will just move on to the next blog.

I had one spammer try to sell geneticly modified trees. hardwood cedar at that.

so I all I have to say to them is "GO AWAY, YOU GREEDY ANNOYING PERSON!!"

Mac are safe no longer

OSX has been hacked!!

and you can even install it on a PC. with a few modifcations.

it's an availible torrent. it's call OSx86. appearently it runns faster on a PC then it does on new G4 and G5s

we are downloading it at work just to see.

there is some hardware issues but that is only cause mac, were only designed to run mac hardware. 3rd party was unheard of.

but now more people have access to the software, the more people have a chance to test virus'

has anyone read a good book lately?

I was curious if anyone has read any interesting books lately.

I mainly read non-fiction. unless it is a classic, or by an author I like.
(jrr tolken, douglas adams, terry pratchet)

I have just finished "case for christ" by lee strobel
purpose driven life
case for the creator
all 5 of the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy
.
and those are just the recent books.

so my question is any recommendations?

if I only had a spare $100 mil

Fly me to the moon? That'll be $100 million

finally I can blame my lack of attention span on ....

too much TV.

scienctists are finding that the more you use your brain the less likely you develop Alzheimer's.

"One of the most extensive and widely cited investigations on the subject, the landmark Nun Study, tracked 100 Milwaukee nuns who had written autobiographies in the 1930s. More than 50 years later, scientists gave them cognitive tests and examined the brain tissue of nuns who died. Those who demonstrated lower linguistic ability in the autobiographies were at greater risk for Alzheimer's disease."

follow the link here.

sorry for adding another bodypart to exercise to the list.
but you can allways go back to your TV and eventualy never see any reruns again.
