a change in prospective

the more I get to travel with my work, the more I get to see how different other places are, even when in close proximity. it helps me realize the vastness of this expanse we call earth is. I get to see how different other places are, and yet how very similar all places are.

it makes me feel small.

now that I have a daughter whom on our first day home had a temperature of over 100F, and a wife whom lost a lot of blood during delivery. I feel smaller now that my only focus is this family of 3.

I feel blessed.

after talking to a few friends on the different paths their lives have taken. it has forced me to look upon my shortcomings, mistakes, and bad choices.
Thankfully I stand where I am and where I want to be.
